Prom....

A: Hey! Prom's in 1 week time... Aren't you excited? Have you bought everything yet?

B: Yup..I've got my dress. It's a long white toga dress and I've bought my shoes and accessories and stuff.But, I don't feel excited though...

A: Why? It's prom...

B: So? I don't have a partner.

A: Then go find one. Ask someone. Why don't you ask that one?

B: Er...ask someone? The only person I'll ask is that one...But he already has a date. And if I snatch him from his date, the whole school will know and I will be known as 'The Prom Date Snatcher'. And I don't want that to happen ...I want to graduate from high school with a 'clean' name.

A: O right...He sang to that girl during assembly....How romantic...(aw...)So you're going single?

B: Yes. What's wrong with going single? I don't mind...(said in a cool fashion. but actually deep inside' I WANT a prom date! I don't want to go alone~T_T)

A: err...okay then. But it's your senior year. It sucks going single... Why don't you ask your bro's friend?

B: Didn't I say so that I will not ask anyone except that one. Well.. unless my bro's friend asks me within this week...I'm not going to ask anyone...(even though I kinda want someone) But then we won't have anything to talk about except HKU...lol

B:.....

And so, the conversation goes on and will continue till prom is over I guess. Does it really matter id I have a prom date or not? Well I guess for guys, it's kinda shameful because people will assume that no girl wants to go with you or you got rejected. But for girls, we can just hang our with our girlfriends and dance to Beyonce's "All the Single Ladies"... Who knows maybe he will ask me to dance with him on that day itself, when he sees me all glamored up.

Who invented numbers??

Having my external papers now and I'm trying to cram all the info in my head. Why? Because I want that 7...no, those 7s...I want that 40 (or more than 40 also can...) And why do I want those 7 s or 40? Because my future depends on it... well...okay...the uni that I want to go requires me to have it... I might sound a bit narrow-minded, saying that my future depends on the numbers but it is kin

d of true. At least now I think it's true. Have been doing IB for nearly 2 years and its down to this. I have

to get those 7s or else all my effort spent on staying-up-late, no-korean-drama....all of those will be wasted. Including the time I spent on my EE....noooo...

It's kind of ironic how we, humans, invent numbers and then are manipulated by it. You have to get at least 2100 in order to fulfill the basic requirements, some unis require you to have at least 118 for TOE

FL (the total's 120 btw) in order to prove that you're proficient in English...

And then besides education stuff, we, humans, are manipulated by numbers when we're judged based on our economic wealth. Wealthier people get more privileges than less wealthy ones just because they can pay the amount of cash required. Again cash = numbers.

O and now in school, I'm the oldest among the student body...lol. And so I get kind of sensitive when people ask me about my age...Again, age= numbers..(Maybe that's why I don't have a prom date...lol

)

So yea...I guess humans are conquered by numbers after all...Now is and in the future will...

What on EARTH is happening??!!

Recently, I 've been browsing through the papers and I see reports of women, girls and even babies being raped. O males, usually young boys get sodomized too...And I thought 'What on EARTH is happening????'. Is it because we're more exposed to porn?

These beasts just want to find something to relieve their 'desire' right? Then just get something that looks or feels like 'it' and be done with it. Is it necessary to pry on another human being? Have they ever imagined the trauma that the victim would experience?Well I guess not, 'cause they are not even human beings. They are animals who cannot think rationally...

Urghh...it just gets on my nerves...

5 Benefits for having short hair...

What I'm going to type later on applies to guys as well...(as you know some guys love to keep long hair...which I find...eww~~)

Okay so I've been keeping my hair long for almost one and a half years.And last Wednesday, I decided to get a hair cut. Initially I wanted to cut my hair really short...like boy cut...but then the hairstylist was like,' I think you better not cut it that short first...' And so, I did not get the boy cut that I want, but I like it still...

My new haircut looks something like this...(minus the sexy look that Rihanna has on her face..lolz)

And so, I stared at the mirror and the haircut kind of reminded me of my Chong Hwa days...the short hair that I had for 5 years...ughh...

However, I realise that there are benefits for having short hair too....

1. You save shampoo and conditioner. Before I cut my hair short, I had to squeeze the shampoo comtainer twice. But now I only have to do it once. Save $$

2.Your hair dries much faster. This is good. This means that I dont have to use the hairdryer...Save electricity and $$

3.You dont have to buy hairtie...Save $$

4.You dont feel as hot and stuffy as the long-hairs do on sunny days...=>

5.You get to be as stylish as the long hairs do...who says you cant style your hair if its short?

oh one more thing...just look at the transformation...

that's why I think guys look better in short hair...(except Torres. he looks good in short and long...=p)

5 reasons to why I like Mayday 五月天

So... many people have been asking me to why I like MAYDAY 五月天. I always brag about how amazing their concerts are. Are they really that good? My answer is YES!!! MAYDAY will FOREVER and ALWAYS be my favourite band~~

Thus, I've created a list below with 5 reasons to why I LOVE MAYDAY...

The 1st reason: Their SONGS are FREAKINGLY FABULOUS...one can listen to their songs REPETITIVELY and still like them...

The 2nd reason: Their CONCERTS are FREAKINGLY AWESOME. Seriously, you not only get ADDICTED to their songs but also their CONCERTS. One day, I'll fly to Taiwan, queue up with the other fans(no matter how long I have to stand) and grab their concert tickets. Trust me, I WILL fly all the way there just for MAYDAY...

As you can see from this photo...there's this huge transformer kinda robot at the background...So cool right? I know...I know...I bet you WON't get to see these kind of robot thingy in other concerts...

The 3rd reason: Their SONG LYRICS are REALLY MEANINGFUL. Even my mom says so...lolz Their songs are NOT ONLY A FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT...BUT they are also A FORM OF ENCOURAGEMENT...

The 4th reason: MAYDAY is 实力派 not 偶像派 like some other boy bands....well...MAYDAY may not be as young as other boy bands but still I bet they can compose better songs than the others...who are so well liked by young girls...

Mayday's got a leader -- 怪兽, who knows how to play the electric guitar and also to compose songs...

The lead singer of MAYDAY: 阿信...he's hot~~and he sings well...and composes great songs...and designs cool clothings...

The drumer of the band: 冠佑...cheeky sometimes...

Another guitarist: 石頭...jamming his electric guitar....

The basist of the band: 瑪莎 with his adorable teddy head on...
